Als sie 4 Jahre alt war bekam ihr Vater, der Psychater Dr. Heinz Herman, einen Ruf nach Jerusalem, um das Krankenhaus \u201eEsrat Nashim\u201c zu leiten. Sie war eine sehr bekannte Stimme des jungen israelischen Rundfunks und leitete lange die Rundfunkabteilung f\u00fcr Kinder und Jugendliche.
