The Königsberg Jewish Old Age Home at Regentenstr. 26/28 opened on May 1, 1930.

To mark the occasion, the Königsberg Jewish Community Newsletter published a drawing by architect Kurt Frick, who had designed the building. Frick later removed this project from his list of works.

On the evening of November 9, 1938, the residents of the retirement home were driven out by the SA. The building was confiscated by the Nazis.
