Text of speech by Prof. Ruth Leiserowitz, delivered on July 30, 2026, at the Klaipėda Jewish Community on the occasion of the “Voices That Have Faded Away” to mark the unveiling of new informational plaques and images at the Klaipėda Jewish Cemetery.
The past lives on as long as we remember it. The future begins when we carry it forward together.
