The Synagogue Square Memorial dedicated to the Jewish Community of Yurburg (Jurbakas/Lithuania) has been opened at JUL 19 2019. This impressive and significant monument is based on an unique idea. The Memel, the river where the city lies, determines the shape. On it we found a number of names of families who took their way to Königsberg to play an important role there. These include the Adelson, Feinberg and Meyerowitz families. It is another example that shows how close have been the between the Litvaks and the Königsberg Jewish community.
